Live Painting Experience

From the moment you enquire with me, to the day your painting finds its forever place in your home. Every part of this experience has been thoughtfully designed to feel bespoke, meaningful and timeless.

Over the past three and a half years, I’ve been honoured to paint at over 90 weddings. From opulent multi-day celebrations in Lake Como, glamorous city hotels, moody historic castles, to literally signing a marriage schedule as a witness at a gorgeous elopement in Glencoe. No two weddings are ever the same, and neither are my paintings.

After years of focusing on perfecting my craft, I now accept only a select number of weddings each year. This ensures every couple receives my full care, focus, and highest quality of work.

My style is rooted in realism, but with a colourful flair - creating paintings that not only capture how you looked on the day, but how it felt to be there.

The result isn’t just a painting of your special day, it’s one that holds its soul.

Final 20”x24” artwork completed, sealed and returned to you.
40 hours studio time included to refine your painting.

10 hours of live wedding painting and interaction with guests on the day.
Access to individual client portal holding all documentation, mock ups and ideas that provides real time updates on the progress of your painting.
Opportunity for guests to get involved by adding their own (guided) brush strokes.
Final 24”x30” artwork completed, sealed and returned to you.
80 hours studio time to add detail and refine your painting.
Painting includes wedding couple and up to six guests.

The process

1. Decide which live wedding painting package suits your budget, style and requirements.

2. Fill out the booking form supplying your name, contact details, venue and wedding date to check availability for your date. Kirsty aims to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours, please ensure to check junk folders for responses.

3. If Kirsty is available on your date and you'd like to proceed, a contract will be drafted and sent over to you by email. A signature, and 25% retainer is required to officially reserve your date, the final balance due within four weeks of your wedding date.

4. Once your date has been secured, Kirsty will send over the booking information guide and link to your interactive client portal. This is an easy access portal that will contain all documentation, links to various guides as well as a handy section for ideas for your painting. Six week's prior to your date, Kirsty will get in touch to arrange a video or phone call to finalise all details of your painting and confirm a plan for on the day.

5. On the day of your event Kirsty will arrive one - two hours before your ceremony to start working on the agreed background and will need a space of approx. 2mx2m to set up. After the ceremony, Kirsty will find you to confirm your pose and begin painting you into your painting. If you requested that guests be involved in the painting process, towards the end of the evening, Kirsty will set up the area for guests, and assist guests with painting some elements of the painting. This can be anything from florals, pets, lace on your wedding dress or the tartan on your kilt.

6. At the end of the evening, Kirsty will let you know when she has finished painting and is ready to leave, this is an ideal opportunity for you to check on the progress of your painting and advise of any tweaks.

7. Kirsty will take the painting home to add in more detail including refining the background and facial features, as well as adding in any pets, family members or special details you have requested. The additional time in the studio will be in line with the hours detailed in your package.

8. Once the painting is complete, Kirsty will varnish and return the painting to you in person or by an insured courier service.
